 FISHNET (Fisherfolk Integration for Sustainable Habitat and Natural Ecosystem Transformation)

The UKAID-funded FISHNET project is a consortium approach led by UTTARAN.   Along with ACF, CNRS, CBDP, and 2 other CBO members, who are backed by technical support from the University of Chittagong. To address Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing, Marine Protected Areas and Other Effective Conservation Measures, Partnership Grant, Small-scale fisheries management, Solid waste and marine pollution in the Taltoli upazilla under Barguna District.

Locally led disaster risk reduction in the coastal area project.

This Project is a Coalition of 11 CBOs and 3 LNGOs funded by The Share Trust and supported by Start network under local coalition accelerator (LCA). To Increase the resilience of local people by enhancing their capacity through income-generating activity in the Taltoli upazilla under Barguna District.

NAGORIC: National Advancement for Governance and Rights Initiatives in Communities

Embassy of Switzerland, Global Affairs Canada funded the NAGORIC project aims promote inclusive and accountable governance  with social justice by amplifying civil society’s voice and participation in governance. The project working area will be Amtoli Upazila under Barguna district.

Y-Moves Project

Plan International Bangladesh supported and SIDA funded Y-MOVES project aims to mobilize children and young people especially girls are acting as change agents on SRHR Child protection issues in six Upazillas under Barguna District.

Strengthening GOB institutions against Tobacco Usage Project

Bloomberg Philanthropies funded and Supported by Gram Bangla Unnoyon Committee , this project aims to facilitate the enforcement of tobacco control policies and surveillance to stop the interference of tobacco industries, especially TAPS violations in Barguna Sadar Upazilla.


CBDP Sonatola Hatchery

World Fish and DFD supported the CBDP Sonatola hatchery is a own funded social enterprise initiative to address the quality fish fry problem in the aquaculture industry. CBDP aims to distribute high-quality fish fry seeds through an extensive network of distribution and Farmers field school, To ensure they get quality fish fingerlings.
