CBDP’s strength lies in community ownership. Every initiative is designed with grassroots participation, ensuring that beneficiaries are also stakeholders. We create bridges between service providers and service seekers through dialogue, accountability sessions, and inclusive platforms.

2. Women’s Empowerment & Gender Justice

CBDP prioritizes women as agents of change. Programs focus on women’s leadership, economic empowerment, prevention of gender-based violence, and ensuring equal access to services. Our Girls’ Takeover initiative has shown how young women can step into leadership roles with vision, courage, and determination.

3. Youth Leadership & Skills

Born as a youth movement, CBDP continues to invest in young people—through leadership development, vocational training, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship. Youth are seen not only as beneficiaries but also as change-makers who can drive innovation and resilience in their communities. 

4. Entrepreneurship & Livelihoods

We recognize entrepreneurship as a pathway out of poverty. CBDP supports small businesses, cooperatives, and women-led enterprises with skills training, access to finance, and market linkages. Livelihood projects such as Saarothi Sustainable Livelihoods strengthen household income and community resilience.

5. Climate Resilience & Environment

Being from a disaster-prone coastal region, CBDP works extensively on disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, and environmental protection. From ensuring safe shelters and eco-friendly solutions to mobilizing communities against overfishing and resource depletion, we are committed to sustainable ecosystems.

6. Humanitarian & Emergency Response

During floods, cyclones, and crises, CBDP provides lifesaving relief—food, health services, shelter, and psychosocial support—while focusing on long-term recovery and resilience building.

CBDP is scaling up its programs to reach more communities across coastal and rural Bangladesh. Our future focus includes:

    1.    Expanding entrepreneurship opportunities for women and youth.

    2.    Digital inclusion—using mobile and online platforms to deliver services and information.

    3.    Strengthening disaster preparedness and climate adaptation strategies.

    4.    Deepening social accountability to ensure transparency in governance and service delivery.

    5.    Building global partnerships to bring innovative practices and resources to the grassroots.

📺 Visibility & Media Engagement

CBDP believes in amplifying voices. From organizing social accountability sessions with health, agriculture, and women affairs officers, to celebrating Right to Information Day, we bring service providers closer to citizens.

    •    Activities are regularly covered in local media and broadcast live through CBDP’s social media channels (Facebook/LinkedIn).

    •    Communication tools include posters, banners, infographics, videos, and live coverage, ensuring transparency and broad outreach.
